For the German educational network, ARD, Uwe Kind created and co-produced "English Alive", a TV series to learn English as a foreign language. Uwe is also the author of 'Tune in to English' and 'Tune in to Espaņol'.
Mr. Kind is also the inventor of patented Talking T-shirts and Totes. Proud wearers of the Talking T's include the 1988 and 1992 US Olympic Teams, Mikail Gorbachev, Richard Chamberlain, Carol Channing, marathoner Greta Weitz and foreign language students the world over. Talkling T's have been produced for companies and institutions such as Berlitz, the Goethe-Institut, McDonalds in Moscow, the United Nations and Special Olympics - to name just a few. In 1993 Uwe Kind was honored for his work at the prestigious 'Documenta', one of the world's premier modern art exhibitions. His work was selected as a prime example of the power of art in education.
Uwe now travels extensively to train teachers and to hold LingoTech concerts here and abroad. Uwe makes his home in New York City.
